STATEMENT

The landscape design at this project encourages a large-scale active lifestyle. Inspired by the three architectural

motifs, Northern Italian, Provence and Formal Spanish, the landscape palettes ranged from eclectic and sophisticated
to simplistic and elegant. Each model home was designed with a distinct landscape tone and texture. Ornate plant

materials were used such as drought-tolerate succulents, golden goddess bamboo, westringia fruticosa shrubs and

salvia leucantha. The trees consisted of bird of paradise palms, aged olive trees, date palms and king palms. The idea
behind the landscape was focused around a large sparking outdoor pool, detached open-air casita with pool table,

bocce court, shaded outdoor trellis areas and indoor/outdoor dining and entertaining. Water features were a key at this

project to add serenity. Since these homes are adjacent to an existing avocado orchard, the landscape was intended to
feel like an extension of a European-inspired countryside.
