BEST SIGNAGE
The marketing trail signage program presents a compelling story of the
community as an extension of Austin, echoing the city’s active, fresh vibe. The
signage program also differentiates the community from any other Austin-area
master-planned community.
•
Iconic bench logo mark and the brand’s unique bright red were incorporated
throughout. When married with a metal and bright blue, the resulting sign
designs were fresh, inviting, and easy to read.
• A simple but bold font, used in uppercase, presented information clearly and
succinctly.
• The program was installed in development’s early stages to attract attention
during construction.
•
Ensuring onsite shoppers knew of the future amenities and parks, storytelling
signage, rather than using photography, uses lifestyle elements routed out of
metallic backgrounds. One example is the routed-out figure of a guy playing
Frisbee with his dog; another is a young child on a scooter.
•
Directional signs and “flag” signs also were routed out of metal, and used
along the marketing trail. Unlike typical flags, these signs hold up to the
harsh Texas wind and sun They are unique to the market, noteworthy and Easton Park
memorable.
