STATEMENT

The resistance to buying secondary real estate following the Recession— particularly among GenX and Millennial

buyers in search of a different experience — presented an unusual challenge for developers of this private residential
club community on the Big Island of Hawaii. Targeted to high-net-worth second-home buyers, this beautifully produced, 

hardbound brochure met the major marketing objective of successfully positioning the project as the next generation of 

private club communities. With a Legends Live Here theme acknowledging legends of the land and the project’s modern-day 
legends in golf course and architectural design, the brochure’s lifestyle imagery of a multi-generational family enjoying an 

array of active pursuits resonated with the diverse demographics of the changed market. The brochure contributed to $150 

million in real estate sales, which included 31 lots ($100 million), and 16 single-family and attached homes ($50 million).
