BEST ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF A SINGLE-FAMILY
DETACHED HOME 2,000 TO 2,499 SQ. FT.
This goal for this project was to take design and architecture to a whole new
level for Houston homebuyers, creating a highly desirable and luxuriously
finished modern home with sleek contemporary aesthetics.
Plan 1 captures the essence of indoor / outdooring living with a front courtyard
and pool area that leads to the front entry and great room, which also features
a large glass wall opening out to the pool area. This allows the homeowner
to maximize private use spaces and provides maximum room for entertaining
even with a smaller sized lot. The far end of the great room has a large corner
glass wall that opens out to the backyard bringing more indoor / outdoor living
and entertaining areas. High ceilings, clean lines, and a mix of finishes give the
kitchen and great room a contemporary but cozy feel. Smaller, intimate spaces
were incorporated into the large great room giving it a very open feel yet still
allows for private conversations and different activities to take place in the same
