GOLD AWARD—SALES


Our in-house sales team is required to do much more than most on-site agents. 
Responsible for covering nine communities across the Triangle ranging from $300s 

to $1.5M, they must be able to cross-sell, be detailed, flexible, tech-savvy and work 

remotely. Together with their Project Managers, they determine specifications and 

budgets for inventory and pre-sale homes. We do not operate from base prices, 

rather price each home on its own merit. Having a more discerning buyer, our 
average price point is $500,000, and the ability to customize our plans make the 

buying process lengthier and more challenging. It is imperative that we soften the 

process for our buyers, guiding them without overwhelming them but still securing 

a commitment. With complex, custom presales it is not possible to close on the 
first visit, but instead we look for small wins along the way such as lot-reservations, 

design-contracts or appointments with our in-house architect or design consultants.

Though they have the same operating hours (Monday through Saturday from 10am to

environments. While they all cross-sell our 9 communities across The Triangle, they

are individually responsible for their focus communities. Peter and Whitney co-sell 

Briar Chapel, a master-planned community in Chapel Hill with homes from the $300s 
to $700s, and work out of two different model homes. One is lightly staged while 

the other one is a fully-decorated model home. Sydney and Susan also co-sell in

a master-planned community, this one named Wendell Falls located in Wendell,

NC with their homes in the $300-$450 price range. They have two fully decorated 
model homes to sell out of and also spend time selling from their move-in ready 

custom designs. Diandra travels to our other communities, which are developed and 

built exclusively by Homes By Dickerson. These estate-style custom designs start 

in the $600s and can go well into the million-dollar price tag. She works wherever 
is convenient at the time whether it is from our home office in Raleigh, one of our 

moving model homes (a lightly staged spec home in one of the communities) or 

even from her car. She is able to make herself available to her clients and travel the 

different neighborhoods in her territory.
