STATEMENT

Inspired by the combination of downtown real estate offices and trendy Internet cafés prevalent in other resort destinations,

the goal was to open an interactive, informative gallery and coffee house in the heart of Rehoboth Beach. Seasonal visitors to

RehobothBeach can reach thousands per day, and several of those vacationers are interested in purchasing a weekend beach
retreat or full-time retirement home. Yet, many never find the time to drive further inland to investigate housing options, so the

design and marketing team devised an innovative way to create an engaging new home sales center, one block from the ocean.

Getting beachgoers in flip-flops to take a moment away from sand and sunshine required creativity, planning and common
sense. The team started by partnering with a popular restaurateur, to provide premium coffee, pastries and desserts that would

draw a loyal, local crowd. Then they kicked it up a notch, adding a must-see, fully-outfitted, upside-down kitchen protruding

from the ceiling, eye catching home designs, maps and photography on every wall, and interactive, touch-screen technology
that allows guests to virtually tour each 3D model home. On any given day, you will find the Coffee House full of locals and

beach visitors interacting together, enjoying warm drinks, reading the newspaper and casually chatting with the builder team.

The gallery has truly delivered the builder’s culture to the beach, resulting in increased brand recognition and traffic to their
communities and models.
